Everything is going a bit better now... I just finished to see the 2,600 devs I had to see (I hardly checked dA in these days... damn, they were a lot) and the shooting of Danny started on Saturday. Without inconvenients (like illnesses etc.) we will wrap shooting on April 5th. My first day was ok, I'm 50% happy with the result and striving to do better next time.
The next week we're going to do our first studio session with models (mostly actors and actresses) and I'm quite thrilled I have to say.
The title of the post is like that because of the Coen film (of course
). I love Cormac McCarthy and this one is one of the best film I've seen in my life. 100% perfect. No mistake in directing, Deakins made a stunning effort in cinematography (he lost the Academy award because he had the double nomination I think, even though There Will Be Blood was stunning as well), the actors were all brilliant. Tommy Lee Jones made probably his best performance so far, his character is drenched in tragedy and he portrays it fantastically. You should check it out, really.
Another one I've seen lately is There Will Be Blood, by PTA. He's a director I really admire, and this is another great film from him. Daniel Day-Lewis is... Well, Daniel Day-Lewis
The movie is awesome. It feels like a classic from the 40s, in color, full of strong feelings, and hatred, a lot of pure, human hatred.
I hope I'll go to see Lumet's "Before The Devil Knows You're Dead" tomorrow. I'll let you know.
See ya all!!!
PS. You should also check out the TV series called "Mad Men"... 'It's toasted'
